New priest at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church shifts focus from maintenance to mission and outreach

The Rev. Mark Andrew Jones, who prefers to be called Fr. Mark Andrew, is the new, totally approachable interim pastor at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church at 1111 E. Sample Road in Pompano Beach.
“I began my job here on Oct. 1, 2011, and I must say I have received a very warm welcome from the staff and the parish,” he told The Pelican. “I’ve always felt a spiritual tug,” he says as he relaxes and tells the tale of his switch from being a practicing attorney to becoming an Episcopal Priest.
